The UW-Whitewater baseball team opens spring training action in Florida on Saturday. The Hawks will play St. Olaf College (Minn) in doubleheader action in Leesburg, Florida.
Whitewater takes a 2 & 0 mark into its Florida schedule. The Hawks swept a two-game series vs. Washington University (11-1 and 16-10) in St. Louis two weeks ago.
St. Olaf enters today’s play with a 6 & 0 record. The Oles opened 2011 action Friday with 2-1 and 5-2 victories over Madison Edgewood.
