Mid 70 temps and sun for Thursday afternoon's twin-bill vs Marian at The Mills

Marian University (Fond du Lac) will bring a 2 & 8 record into Thursday's doubleheader against UW-Whitewater at James B. Miller Stadium

The Sabres split a pair of games with Ripon College on Tuesday afternoon in the home opener for Marian in Fond du Lac. Tim Holtz hit a game-winning home run in the ninth inning and Mitchell Gardner pitched eight solid innings to help give the Sabres a 7-5 victory in game one. Ripon won the nightcap 14-4 in seven innings. The games were the first for the Sabres since returning from a spring break week in Arizona.

The first game in Thursday afternoon's doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m.

Warhawk fans, think seriously about taking the afternoon off on Thursday. The Weather Channel says the sun will be shining with a temperature in the mid-70s!!!

I look forward to seeing you at The Mills GO HAWKS!!
