UW-Whitewater and UW-Stevens Point are the lone WIAC teams showing up in this week's D3baseball.com Top 25 national poll.
The Warhawks, off to a WIAC best 7 & 1 mark, jumped three spots to No. 18 in the poll released on March 21. Whitewater has the day off today after defeating Washingto & Jefferson (Penn) 12-8 on Monday in Winterhaven, Florida. The Hawks are scheduled to play Bowdoin College (Maine) on Wednesday.
Stevens Point is ranked 15th for the second consecutive week. The Pointers opened its 2010 Florida trip Monday by spitting a doubleheader against Trinity College (Conn). The Pointers play Washington & Jefferson in doubleheader action today (Tuesday).
The Warhawks return home later this week and are scheduled to play a doubleheader vs. Ripon College on Saturday (3/27) in Whitewater’s home opener at sparkling new James Miller Stadium’s Prucha Field.
