Warhawk fans, all KOOL 106.5 baseball broadcasts are available via podcast

Gary Douglas and I are very fortunate to have the privilege to broadcast UW-Whitewater athletics’ events on KOOL 106.5. To know the team you are covering sets a realistic goal each year on winning a conference title and competing for a national championship is something extremely exciting.

I’ve been broadcasting UW-Whitewater baseball, basketball, and football for the past 22 years and have had a blast doing it! Broadcasting events such as Saturday’s Warhawk baseball performance is what it is all about for a broadcaster. What I enjoy most is the atmosphere of those postgame moments when the athletes, coaches, parents, and fans congregate on the field or court to soak in the excitement of winning another championship.

For me and my partner, Gary Douglas, tournament time is truly the best time of a team’s season. I have really enjoyed blogging Warhawk baseball this season on Voices Eye on Baseball Blog and broadcasting the late-season and postseason games on KOOL 106.5.

Our next stop is right back at the Mills as the Hawks host the 2010 NCAA Division III Midwest Regional beginning on Wednesday.

When you are at the stadium attending the games this week take time to soak in the incredible atmosphere of watching your Warhawks compete for their ultimate goal – the 2010 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship. It is a very special feeling!

By the way, all KOOL 1065 Warhawk baseball broadcast are available via podcast. You can access the games by cut and pasting the following Web address: http://940wfaw.com/pages/6577869.php
