Welcome to the Mills

Welcome to OUR home

The brand, spankin’ new James B. Miller Stadium will be hosting plenty of postseason baseball over the next 10 days.

The WIAC Conference Tournament will be held at “the Mills” Friday and Saturday this week. The NCAA Division III Midwest Regional will be held in Whitewater May 19-23. The regional will be made up of anywhere from six to eight teams.

Renovations completed earlier this spring include: a synthetic surface infield, lights, a new warning track, a new back stop, extensions to the dugouts, new bullpens, underground irrigation in the outfield, a new outfield fence, and an indoor shower and bathroom.

The lights were made possible through a $200-thousand donation from former team captain Eric Baldwin. The highly successful professional poker player was honored for his contribution during ceremonies late last month.

On the right fence are 2010 UW-Whitewater baseball corporate sponsors who play a huge part in helping make the baseball program as successful as it is.

The Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium renovation is the latest out door facilities renovation that have made UW-Whitewater’s athletic facilities among the best in Division III.

A reminder to our regular UW-Whitewater baseball fans - for the comfort and safety of all guests, pets are not allowed at James B. Miller Stadium during postseason action including both the WIAC Conference Tournament and next week’s NCAA Division III Regional.

Be aware that Saturday, May 15, is graduation day for UW-Whitewater. Parking is extremely limited and you will be directed to specific areas.
