Benefit for Warhawk volleyball player Lisa Panici set for April 15th


The UW-Whitewater volleyball team would like to invite you to a benefit game for Lisa Panici (Peotone, IL/Peotone) and her family on Friday, April 15 at 7:30 against Elmhurst College in the Kris Russell Volleyball Arena.

All proceeds for the game will go to Lisa Panici and her family. Lisa is a freshman on the volleyball team and was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. The Warhawk volleyball team will be selling benefit T-shirts and bracelets as well as other raffles and activities during the match. "Lisa, although just a freshman, has impacted the Warhawk volleyball team with her talent on the court as well as her fun loving attitude, work ethic and her irresistible smile," head coach Stacey Boudreau said about the freshman outside hitter.

$1.00 admission or donation will be taken at the door. If you are unable to attend but would like to send a donation, please mail to UW-Whitewater Volleyball, 800 W. Main St., Whitewater, WI 53190. Please come and support the Warhawks and "Team Lisa, The Irresistible Force".
