The UW-Whitewater baseball team completed a sweep of Saturday’s doubleheader with UW-Stevens Point. Jeff Donovan goes 8 innings on the mound to get the win. Donovan also broke open a tight game with a towering three-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give UWW a 6-0 lead. Eric Schmitz pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to nail down the Warhawk win.
Whitewater opened the four-game series with a 5-3 come from behind victory.
