Hawks up 8-3 through four in game-one


Th Warhawks lead UW-Platteville 5-2 through innings in game-one at the Mills.

The Pioneers got two unearned runs in the 1st inning for an early 2-0 lead off Riley Tincher. The Hawks get a run of their own in the bottom of the first to cut the UWP lead to 2-1.

The Hawks got the "carosel" going in the second by putting a four-spot on the board to make it 5-2 after two innings.

UWW centerfielder Dylan Friend’s bases loaded double with two outs in the fourth has extended the Hawk advantage to 8-3.

Meanwhile Riley Tincher, who had struggled his last two starts, has limited the Pioneers to just two hits through four innings.
