Lets play baseball and keep an eye on the snowstorm heading in

Baseball – “America’s Pastime” – warm weather, sitting in the stands watching the guys play ball. Yesterday the Warhawks and Blue Devils were welcomed with gusting winds to 30 mph and a wind chill of 29 degrees.

No excuses but I’m just stating the obvious!

Today we can expect a game-time temperature of 43 degrees and a top-temp of 46. The good news is it won’t be nearly as windy as yesterday as winds are forecast at just 5 mph.

Not bad – HOWEVER – the National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WATCH that includes all of west-central Wisconsin beginning at 7 p.m. and extending to 12-noon tomorrow. (see adjacent map – winter storm watch shaded in black)

I jokingly said on Saturday that we were either going to play baseball or enter the Iditarod dogsled race.

Weather conditions during early season Warhawk baseball games – don’t you love it!!
