Hawks and Pointers split four-game weekend series in Point

The UW-Stevens Point baseball team turned the table on UW-Whitewater Sunday afternoon by sweeping the Warhawks 8-1 and 11-7 at University Field in Point.
The Point sweep came just 24 hours after UWW took both ends of Saturday’s twinbill – 5-3 and 6-2.

Following the four-game split in Point the Hawks record is now 13 & 4 overall and 6 & 2 in the WIAC.

Whitewater will host WIAC rival UW-Platteville Wednesday afternoon in doubleheader action on Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium.
