Weather forces UWW @ Stout series to be moved back a day

The weather in Menomonie, Wisconsin will not cooperate with the UW-Whitewater baseball team as they have been forced to push their doubleheaders with UW-Stout back to Sunday, April 17 at noon and Monday, April 18 at noon.

The reason for the schedule change is quite evident when looking at Menomonie's weekend weather forecast from the Weather Channel.

Saturday: Windy, snow showers in the morning will give way to a mixture of rain and snow for the afternoon. High 38 degress. Winds 20 to 30 mph gusting to 40 mph. less than 1 inch of snow expected.

Sunday: Mix of sun and clouds with a high in the low 50s.

Monday: 30% chance of showers with a high in the low 50s.

voiceseyeonbaseball.blogspot.com will be blogging both Sunday and Monday from Menomonie.

The four games were originally scheduled for the 16 and 17 of April.

The Warhawks will play at home again on the 20th of April against Edgewood in a twinbill beginning at 2 and again on the 21st in a doubleheader against Concordia (IL) starting at 1.
