The UW-Whitewater baseball team has jumped to No. 3 in this week's American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division III Baseball Poll. The Hawks (12-1) are up three spots from No. 6 in last week's poll.
As in the D3baseball.com St. Thomas (Minn) is a unanimous No. 1. Chapman (Calif) No. 2, Whitewater's 3rd, followed by Johns Hopkins (Md.) and Mississippi College.
The only other WIAC school mentioned in this week's ABCA poll is UW-Stevens Point that is listed under others receiving votes.
The next ABCA Baseball Top 25 will be released on April 20th.
Weather permitting, the Warhawks will open WIAC play this (Wednesday) afternoon at UW-Platteville.
