Stine 5 for 5 with 5 RBI through six innings


UW-Whitewater is now 15-1 following its game-one 21-6 win over UW-Stout at James B. Miller Stadium. The Hawks jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back. 1 in the second, 5 in the third, and 8 more in the fourth gave UWW 18-0 lead. Stout got on the board with 4 in the fifth. The Hawks put three more on the board to take the 21-6 seven inning/run rule victory.

Jordan Stine, from his lead-off spot in the UWW batting order. The senior centerfielder was 5 for 5 at the plate with 5 runs batted in.

The linescore: Warhawks 21 runs, 18 hits, and 1 error
Blue Devils: 6 runs, 8 hits, and 5 errors

Jason Hooper goes four innings to pick up win and is now 2-0 on the season.

Game two will be coming up in about 20 minutes.
