The UW-Whitewater baseball team jumped another notch in this week’s D3baseball.com Top 25 Rankings. The Warhawks (23-2) jumps one spot from its No. 3 ranking last week. Johns Hopkins (Maryland) (30-3) replaces St. Thomas (Minn) (20-4) at No. 1, St. Thomas drops to No. 3 followed by Chapman (Calif) and Marrietta (Ohio) at No. 5.
With the shakeup in this week’s poll, Johns Hopkins garnered 600 votes including 11 first place votes. Whitewater garnered 594 votes including 10 first place votes.
UW-Stevens Point dropped one spot to No. 22 in this week’s poll.
The American Baseball Coaches Association Poll will be released Wednesday, April 20.
