The wind is blowing out to left

Hello again everybody - Tom Pattison reporting to you live from UW-Whitewater's Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium. A spectacular day is on hand for today's nonconference match-up between Marian University (2-8) and the UW-Whitewater Warhawks (10-1).

As you can see in the adjacent photo, the wind will be blowing out today and the long ball will definitely in play.

The off-season construction has lengthened Prucha Field's playing dimensions. The fence in left now plays at 330 feet down the line and dead center is 395. Right field is still 320 down the line but the scoreboard installed last year slightly overhangs the fence and keeps balls hit off of it in play.

The starting pitchers in Game One: (Marian) Tyler Googins (0-1)
(UWW) Riley Tincher (4-0)

Its almost game time and I'll be keeping you updated all afternoon long.
