The Warhawks jumped out early and cruised to a 19-7 win over Marian University this afternoon at James B. Miller Stadium. Ben Kuhlman lead the Hawks offensively going 5 for 6 in the game with Danny Putnam 4 for 5.
Ryan Tincher gets the win and is now 5 & 0 on the season. Tyler Goggins takes the loss for the Sabres and is now 0-2 on the season.
UW-Whitewater is now 11-1 in 2010 - Marian University falls to 2-9. Game two of the doubleheader will start shortly.
